The rule is below as it now reads and will be enforced. However, we are coming into a new era with people doing different manners of monetary transactions.Įssentially, we'll no longer require anyone to be tied to Paypal only people can now use whatever payment they want, but we want to let people know they are on their own. In the past, we had required people to use Paypal to head off attempted fraud, which has been a concern for many years. From there on I can treat the Mustang just like a traditional amp, no need for a computer. Please note that effective immediately we have updated the Emporium Rules for payment options. For practice purposes I have settled on just 2 amp models - 1 for each guitar since my LP has a much higher output than my Jaguar, and this saves me from having to fiddle around with the volume all the time. So I have set up the amp with 8 favourite presets, the remaining 16 are just all the plain amp models with just a touch of reverb added, sometimes also tremolo if the real amp has it. On Fuse look for the usernames oldskool (mostly Marshalls) chont (mostly Fenders) and Hymir (a bit of everything), those were the ones that work well for me. In the end I did find a few user presets that appear well made and sound good with my rig. Since I haven't got my head around figuring out all the parameters for delay, overdrive etc, this is a quick and easy way to get something that sounds useable for a particular style or song. Now I have quit hunting for the ideal presets, some out there may be good but will sound different than intended (different guitar, different room acoustics, different playing style) while others are just plain rubbish What is really nice about the FUSE software, however, is that you can import just the FX settings, so when I do find a preset that sounds decent, I "copy-paste" just the effects to an amp that sounds good on my guitar. Many people seem to recommend the presets by Intheblues, but they just didn't work for me (maybe it's the guitar or my playing style - or lack thereof). Having just got my hands on a Mustang I, I immediately set about replacing the goofy factory presets.
